ABOUT SIN CITY PITS
Colossus X Babz Breeding
What is a XL Pitbull Bully
As you search the web, you will come across many terms for this breed like XL Pitbull, XL Bully, XXL Bully, American Bully, and so forth that can become very confusing if you aren’t familiar with the breed or bloodlines. Here at Sin City Pits, you will find us using the term XL Pitbull. The term is very easy to put, but some have interpreted it in the world incorrectly. XL just means a taller version of a Pitbull. It is not a size comparison in weight, but in height. A standard American Pitbull Terrier would range between 18-21” to the weathers, an XL would range 22'-25”, and an XXL would be 26” and taller to the weathers.
We are pitbull fans and lovers here at Sin City Pits. With us, you will see that our dogs all resemble the Amerian Pitbull Terrior in terms of looks, head shape, muzzle shape, drive, and athleticism all of this is just on a taller frame. Since the early 2000s, many breeders were not breeding constantly, so the registries made one new breed name The American Bully putting all these terms into one breed. But with us we use only the oldest and most rare American Pitbull Terrier bloodlines in our program that have otherwise gone extinct so we use the term XL American Pitbull and register all our offsprings as APBT.

Who We Are
Launched in 2012, we are the top-notch XL Pitbull Bully kennel and one of the top premier XL Pitbull Bully breeders in the world today. All our dogs are dual registered through UKC and APBR as APBT (American Pitbull Terrier). Both are well respected and established kennel clubs. Breeding XL Pitbull Bullies is not just our hobby; it is our passion and commitment to excellence with the breed. At Sin City Pits, we continue to enhance this passion with knowledge, research, dedication, and sheer love for what we do. We pride ourselves on offering our clients the best show quality production XL American Pitbull Terrier dogs.

Our Story—How Our Journey Began
At Sin City Pits, our desire to breed started from a lifelong appreciation of and love for the American Pitbull Terrier, which organically progressed from being a single dog owner into the elite kennel we have become today establishing a kennel from just a hobby to saving the bloodlines that perfected this breed for almost a decade now with being the only kennel in the world with these bloodlines.
Footsteps Tracing Back 17 Years Ago
Although we started our breeding program in 2012, our research began back in 2004. As the American Bully breed was introduced in the early '90s and recognized in early 2ks, we invested a lot of time researching the breed and different bloodlines used to create a taller and muscular version of the American Pitbull Terrier.
Upon research, we found that the American Pitbull Bully breed was the most delightful breed. We aren't surprised that our love soon manifested into the desire and passion for helping people get to know this breed of dogs by bringing up the best, biggest, and strongest specimens around. While we were in our research phase, we purchased our first furry friend from Powerline Kennels in Waleska, GA. As we took care of our new and first Pitbull and built a strong bond with him, our desire to pursue breeding bloodlines grew even more. We watched the breed and followed all other kennels and came across the one we favored the most with our absolute liking Iron Cross Kennels who produced an even taller version of the breed with an amazing sinister look and pure natural muscular genetics that we truly fell in love with.

Proud Owners of the Absolute Best XL Pitbull Bully Dog
In 2012, we found the absolute best XL Pitbull Bully dogs from Dragons Pride Pitbulls the one breeder who had the rarest pedigree bloodlines, looks and build of any other XL Pitbull bully breeder worldwide. This kennel used Iron Cross Kennels and Royal Blue Generations and crossed them together producing the ultimate sinister-looking, extremely muscular XL Pitbull Bully in the world. However, over the years, we saw that no other outcross or bloodlines could perfect this overall look, size, or health of the XL Pitbull Bully. It was shocking for us to see our contemporaries ruining this breed, pedigree, and bloodline by cross-breeding it and hanging papers with Cane Corso, Mastiffs, Bandogs, Bulldogs, Shepherds and the list goes on for size, color etc. This type of cross-breeding changed the overall look of this sinister dog, its drive, coat colors, temperament, longevity health, and life expectancy. That's when we found our direction. Sin City Pits consciously decided to keep this fantastic old-school bloodline and its epic looks alive by doing at least one breeding a year with this bloodline involving into a high demand and rarity offering the rarest and perfected dogs ever produced in the XL Pitbull bully world at Sin City Pits Las Vegas. This is because our program is focused on preserving these genetic beauties the way they are meant to be. Therefore, we only use the most correct and old school XL American Pitbull Terrier Bully bloodlines to provide customers with genetically superior XL American Pitbull Terrier's with their natural pure muscled up genetics and sinister looks using DNA genotypes and line breeding with the bloodlines that started these dogs and we have been able to perfect over the last decade.

We don't lie or exaggerate about our dogs weight, size, or other qualities. What you see is what you get. We never water down traits they are best known for, like athleticism, looks, health, quality or intelligence of the dog's bloodline "Sin City Pits", and other aspects for size. However, we strive to bring out the strengths in XL Pitbull Bully and eliminate all weak and undesirable traits. At Sin City Pits, our XL Pitbull Bully dogs are raised and treated with all the love and respect of family members, much needed for the development of their healthy and stable characters along with family oriented personalities. We provide them a setting where they get adequate socialization, playtime, and the best environment to grow. Put simply, we raise them like our own children.

Kennels who created Sin City Pits
DPP "Dragons Pride Pitbulls" + ICK "Iron Cross Kennels" = SCP " Sin City Pits", Theirs no fat butterball looking dogs with yuck droopy mouths or skin with us...Check out our productions page , every dog posted is all natural not worked so you can see the true genetics behind our dogs them we recommend everyone to do their research on google to see the difference of the quality with us and others, we guarantee with confidence you'll come back to us as you'll see we produce nothing but 100% supermodels.

Size / Color
We are NOT in any race to produce 200lb "pitbull or bully" nor do we want dogs that big. We will not sacrifice the integrity of our kennel or the traits that make a pitbull a pitbull just for size or whatever color trend is in at the moment. The health, conformation, working ability and quality of our dogs blood will never be watered down for these traits. We believe in the total package and will not have one without the other and to do that we not only breed to bring out the strengths in all attributes but by eliminating all of the weak and undesirable traits by breeding with DNA.

Purchasing a pup from us
The bond and loyalty you will receive by owning one of our Pitbull puppies is 2nd to none. All our dogs and puppies we own and produce are our best friends and are all apart of the family not just kenneled up in some back yard waiting to use them to breed to make a buck SO with that being said so do screen all buyers to make sure they're qualified to own one of our amazing Pitbull puppies because their future is most important to us, where they're going and how they will be raised!

Temperament
Our dogs are not bred to be aggressive nor would our intensions ever to do so. Published in the journal Applied Animal Behaviour Science, surveyed over 14,000 bully breed dog owners; aggressive dogs aren't born, they're raised that way by their owner. About three percent of responding dog owners reported aggression — defined as “barking, lunging, growling or biting” — toward family members. About seven percent reported aggression toward strangers coming into the house, and five percent reported aggression toward strangers out of the house so in evaluating aggression risk for an individual breed of dog there are more important factors to consider than the type of breed it is like how you raise him / her from birth.  Recent study out of the University of Bristol’s School of Veterinary Sciences showed dogs purchased from reputable breeders were less aggressive than those gotten from pet shops or rescue groups. When you purchase a puppy from Sin City Pitbulls Las Vegas aggression shall be the least of your worries. Most all of our productions live with families who are around children and other breeds of dogs most of which have become legitimate service dogs for the elder, NYPD dogs, UFC fighters & NFL players traveling companions. Customer service and communication is very important to us. When purchasing a puppy from us you become part of our family for life and being family we will go the extra mile every time with whatever it is you may need, so if you ever have a question or concern reach out AND ASK US before doing otherwise.

How to point out a reputable breeder?

Sadly the breeding industry with all breed types is all over the place, lots of hype, false advertisement, poor quality breedings and many scammers. We want to help future dog owners on what to look for before making a long term commitment and purchase.

Research: look at the breeders profiles not just a breeder page but personal pages, look how they live personally, do they post family photos, are they clean, do they care and take care of them selfs, do they post family stuff or just nice expensive things to show off? Why is all this important? It can help determine how well the breeder takes care of their animals or if they are just all about sales.

Dogs well-being: Look how the dogs are being raised, are the dogs in kennels all the time? This is easily noticed by kennel sores on their elbows, paws, balding tails and have long nails. Do the dogs get along with one another? Are their dog bowls clean, are they drinking out of clean water bowls or nasty buckets? Are the dogs raised and sleep outside in dirt and mud all day long or raised inside? How do their coats look are they always dirty with bald spots, allergies issues or do they have nice shiny coats all the time?

Pedigree: How consistent is the bloodlines behind the dog(s)? This can be sometimes difficult for some to figure out. The more consistent the pedigree is behind the dog(s) the more purebred the dog will be, the healthier the dog will be and the least genetic problems will develop. How do you read pedigrees? Well, look for the same bloodlines within ones pedigree at least 3 generations back of consistency is what you want, the further back with the same bloodlines the better. What’s a bloodline? A bloodline to make it most simple is basically the producers name of the kennel that goes in front of the dogs name, the more times you see this name the more consistent the pedigree is. Now sometimes it can be confusing as the way this works is when a breeder produces a litter, one buys a pup from that breeder and breeds that dog when grown to another dog from the same breeder those offsprings are now that breeders productions so they get credit of their kennel name before the dogs name. When doing your research look at each dog and where it originated from as some dogs like said above can have a different kennel name in-front but actually is the same bloodline. Most importantly look for scattered bloodlines behind the parents, the more scattered the more genetic variation of health issues will occur means lots of expensive vet bills, less years of life of the dog and so forth this is why pedigrees are so important.

DNA genetic profiling: Is the parents of the puppy you’re interested in DNA profiled? Meaning is the mom and dad of the offspring actually who the breeder says they are? DNA profiling is a process done through a dog registry like UKC who sends a DNA sample from both parents to a lab like UC Davis. This DNA testing profiles the dog’s genetic chromosomes which tells us the offsprings from the said Dam and Sire are proven to be from them both. Why is this important? Because many breeders hang papers. What’s hanging papers? This is when one breeds a desired Stud to a Dam to add color, size, bone, etc this happens very often in all breeds and most the time is a completely different breed of the other dog being bred, the breeding is then promoted using a different said stud whom they say is the father but isn’t. Sadly theirs no way to find out who the true father is if they have not been DNA profiled. This is very important for the over all longevity health of the offspring(s) and for you to not spend your hard earned money.

DNA health testing: This is also very important tool especially for breeders to know if the dog has any genetic health concerns. Any dog with 2 copies of a trait should not be bred to another dog whom has 1+ copies of that same trait. More than 2 copies of a trait makes it dominant and it will pass over to the offsprings. What’s a good health testing lab to use? Wisdom Panel Optimal Selection is our choice amongst others as they have the most accurate results offering 270+ genetic testing making them the highest genetic testing lab on the market for breeders.

Social media marketing: Is the breeder you’re interested in getting a pup from open to allowing you to see the dogs in person? Do they post videos or just photos? This is all important factors as there are many scammers out there with amazing photoshop skills who don’t want you to see the dogs in person for multiple reason like high rears, splayed feet, easty / westy, under / over bites, scars, poor coats and so forth. The quote don’t believe everything you see on tv goes for breeders as well, many breeders not only are amazing with camera tricks but also use famous people to real in your attention. Remember to use all above factors when looking for your future furry friend.

We hope this information has helped you with things you would never think to look or ask for so you can have a much better experience with finding your future furry friend / family member, as we say here at Sin City Pits,
"it’s all about the dogs not about us".

What is a pitbull?

Pitbull is more than a look with tight skin and muscle, its a state of mind, its an attitude, its the swagger, the temperament, the tenacity, the drive, the willingness to never quit, the fight in the dog, the agility.
A pitbull may look intimidating, strong, powerful, beautiful, but lets not forget they are the most loving, caring, loyal beings that you will ever meet and will fight till their last breathe for the one's they love. Built tough, maybe been fighting their whole lives, but all they really desire is to love and be loved and are the biggest mushes and will give everything and trade it all just to lay beside the one's they care for and protect them because to a pitbull we are their world, we are their everything, they live for us!...if anything gets to me, if i was a robot and did not feel any emotion, nothing can make me feel the way this breed does. You know why? because they got heart and i feel that!
